John Beeman Little chicken in hot water

Picked up the mug the other day for $5. Didn't need it but the price was right.

The Aqua Velva set arrived a couple of weeks ago but I hadn't got around to posting it. Still sealed in the plastic for $30 delivered.

Denali razor. Very good first impression. I don't have an Ambassador to compare, but have the Rex Envoy, pictured. The knurling on the Denali is much more comfortable--the Rex is downright sharp, the polished cap and guard are welcomed, as is the more squat head, and better balance (the Rex is handle heavy).[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Here are some various items that arrived recently.

I know this is not shave related, but it is another hobby of mine.

    Coleman 530 (B47) "G.I. Pocket Stove"
Coleman dates their stoves similar to Gillette razor dating. This model is a variation of the Coleman 520 stoves used by Servicemen during WW2. The 530 is the civilian model and was only produced 2 years. A=1st half of the year. B=2nd half of the year. So, this model was produced the 2nd half of 1947. The stove fits into the aluminum canister, that serves as cooking pots and it runs on leaded or unleaded gasoline. It seems to have a small air leak that I must repair and I'm first trying to use regular Coleman fuel because it is cleaner.

The patent number on the underside of the baseplate is #400621
The patent number at the top of the handle is #430030

The bottom of the handle, above the twist knob, has the Gillette logo.

Thanks, Gary. I had looked at the Mr Razor site before the razor arrived and thought it may be that one. The price card it came with wedges perfectly into the top of the case, and I presume it's been there for a long time, based on the condition of the purple velvet. My price card has a bit higher price.
Now, I just need to clean it up.

I got this razor and the Gillette Bulldog from a seller in New Zealand. Only took 12 days from payment to mailbox.

Pardon my ignorance, but does the price on my card equate to: 21 pound Sterling, Zero pence?

EDIT: I forgot about Shillings. It is probably 21 Shillings, Zero Pence.
    Right?
