Do I ever love these Minora blades - last year I received a bunch of them from Jaco and I haven’t used them in a while so I wanted to go with one for the next two weeks because they have great longevity and they’re very sharp as well as smooth. The Paradise Frost is a lovely soap - the scent is a beautiful blend of grapefruit and other notes, it’s tallow based so the lather works up thick, rich, and slick, there’s a bit of a menthol sensation, and the postshave feeling is very comfortable. The Prep and the Aqua Velva Sport aftershave beefed up the cooling and left me feeling and smelling great. What an awesome BBS shave this was!

The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #414 Silvertip Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM Damaskeene with a Personna GEM SS PTFE gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I switched back to the Katana for the past few days. I like it more than I used to, once I figured out to cut the blade and not snap it in half to ensure it is totally flat. Way less chatter that way.

Razor: Yaqi AC 50mm Excalibur V2, Mfg 2021> mid range, very comfortable shave, some blade self alignment possibly needed, great little inexpensive razor and great comfortable post shave feel IMO.
Blade: Feather Professional AC 50 mm (2), Sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap: Razorock Don Marco, nice citrus scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Viper 24mm boar- excellent lather generator, soft bristle split end tips, nice scrubber + good lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Witch hazel skin cleaning + Nivea Refreshing AS + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer balm( excellent + scentless)
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + 1 weeper= Excellent shave with my Yaqi excalibur V2 + a Feather Pro blade.
