    Since the SE month is coming to an end, I pulled out another favorite, the 1924. Two passes resulting in a close and comfortable shave with no blood nor irritation. Broke out my dad's brush for the shave this morning. I love the handle, but the knot is not my favorite. Maybe one day I will put a Semogue knot in there. Enjoy your day.

    Took inspiration from @Hembree the past few days and pulled out the Katana again. I like this little razor- I think the key is to cut the blade and not snap it...it needs a completely flat blade to reduce any chatter. No pic yesterday- just the usual Soap Commander/ Old Spice combo.

    Looking forward to three days of bachelorhood as SWMBO is going to a conference for the next three days. I plan on being a rather fragrant fellow, although not to the extent of some of my fraghead shave brothers.

    The F. Herder 49 15/16 delivered its usual excellent mug shave, although after shaving with the nimble little 4/8 Swedish razors over the course of the last three days did feel a bit awkward and clumsy in hand at first. Nevertheless, three passes later all was right with the world.

    The Eclipse Red Ring is such a deceptively efficient little dome shaver. One of the early twist handle adjustables, it delivers one of the closest noggin shaves of any of my safety razors. And today was no different. Two ATG passes left your happy narrator velveteen smooth from the shoulders up.

    RAZOR: F. Herder 49 15/16 (Mug), Eclipse Red Ring (Dome)
    BLADE: Kai DE (3)
    PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
    BRUSH: Viking Silvertip Badger
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
    POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Fine Platinum AS Splash.

    Thank you Joe....rare to have an OUTTA shave with canned foam, but after all it does what the shave soaps do...lose the whiskers.
