SE- Plissoft noir Williams Mug Soap Claymore Evolution Feather Pro [ 7 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion Just finished my trial with The Evo, having completed 7 consecutive Shaves. Am very pleased how it performed with a FP blade, as previously was not that good for me. After a couple of days familiarisation I was able to push the Combo a bit, and then got a succession of Super Close Shaves, of the Face Stroking variety. I do like my new purchase a lot.
SOTD SEptember 29th 2021 Razor: Yaqi AC 50mm Excalibur V2, Mfg 2021> mid range, very comfortable shave, some blade self alignment possibly needed, great little inexpensive razor and great comfortable post shave feel IMO. Blade: Feather Professional AC 50 mm (2), Sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity. Soap: Razorock Don Marco, nice citrus scent with excellent lather qualities. Brush: Yaqi Viper 24mm boar- excellent lather generator, soft bristle split end tips, nice scrubber + good lather painter. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. Post shave: Witch hazel skin cleaning + Nivea Refreshing AS + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer balm( excellent + scentless) Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + 1 weeper= Excellent shave with my Yaqi excalibur V2 + a Feather Pro blade. Have some great shaves!
I had another exceptional shave with my (now) beloved Schick M1 Adjustable Injector. I've only shaven with it less than a dozen times but now that I have found my way with injectors I am in love with this thing. It has a Chinese Schick blade in it on the fourth use. Still very sharp so I assume I'll get the usual 10 shaves or so out of it. I had a three-pass shave with BBS cheeks and DFS+ chin and below using settings 5, 3, and 1 respectively. I'm telling you, it really is an easy go-to setup. The razor is virtually solid-state in comparison to a DE. Wash it out and blow out the excess water when done. Pull it out of the drawer and just go. I can see why people who chose an injector in the past over a DE did so. I feel like it's a "once you get it" sort of thing.
Thur 30th Sept The Grosvenor- 404 mixed Vitos Super Red Supply V1 & V2-3dot plate Personna S/S [ 4 ] Tuff Red A/S Lotion I have not used the Supply for nearly 5 months, as it is a Razor that frustrates me. When using it ,all seems good but somehow I never get the 100% Shave. I tend to get a good shave on the upper face, but work on the neck does not go right at all, yet I get the likes of my E2 to do a good job in that area.

Good protection and slickness with a pleasant scent. Thanks @IAmTheJody No Open Comb today but will be using a fair amount this month of OCtober. Got the ER Shovelhead in when a youtube viewer asked how it compares to the 1912. Had a great shave and glad to have it but it tends to hold water in the cap when you rinse it and runs down your face. Even that aside prefer the shave of the 1912. Both great razors and won't go wrong with either but 1912 for me is the preference. Find out for yourself which "floats your boat." Fri 1st October RazoRock Syn. 22mm Tabac soap Personna Super Stainless injector Personna Coated blade [ 4 ] Tabac A/S Lotion A very nice follow up to The Supply. Really excellent little Razor with a Personna blade on board, I cannot get the same results with any chick blade. Got a bargain with this compared with asking prices today.
