My kind of weather! I’m hot natured, but not as much as I used to be when younger.

Thanks! Yes the Weber is frequently used also in Winter time. Really good quality! I really like US made things, strong and sturdy constructions.

The only things still made in America are car floor mats and truck bed liners, Jesus-infused pillows and grills.

Guess it has something to do with Jesus and Pillows and they are infused to each other in some way…

Course Barbasol is made in America, too. Just ask Cliff Claven(who also goes by the name of John Ratzenberger)in his MADE IN AMERICA series on Youtube.

A few years back my father in-law had the sad job of clearing out his mothers house. Of course my boys and I helped, but during the work we found an old busted Stanley bench plane. My oldest son wanted it because it was family's, it's old and it's a tool. Besides being very rusted, the handle was extremely shattered, and half the lever cap was gone. Well he asked me about three months ago to see about working on it. I tried finding a replacement lever cap, but due to it's odd size it's nearly impossible without paying a small fortune. That said I sat down and removed the rust re-built and epoxied the handle, cleaned and oil the wood work, Painted the inside sole and re-assembled it with a thin coat of oil to preserve it.

I found out it was produced between 1948-1961.

I told him to keep it as a decoration and with out some costly parts it was to be kept as an heirloom only.

    :)

Fixed the fluidmaster in two toilets today. Not exciting to do but with the hard water in our area these things have to be cleaned every once in a while.
