  2. Thanks Jeff! I will be going out later today and this evening. I will just pop a Tylenol. I know that I am not going to the gym at all this weekend.
  3. Hi all. I came across Hendrix Classics Co via a you tube channel. The company sells different oils to add to your unscented soaps. You can make the scents as mild or as strong based on your preference. You only need 2 drops while you are bowl lathering to get it at medium strength. I know that you can get EO's at TJ Maxx, Waldmarts, etc, but this company has 40 different scents so I am sure that you will find a few. I think it is a great idea for traveling and not bringing pucks of soap. You can have a different scent each day if you choose. They come in 2ml, 5 ml and 1oz bottles. 2ml is 3.50, 5 ml is 6.00 and 10z is 18.00. Here is the link for you to check it out.

  4. Feel better, Joe!

I got my third vaccination this morning of that stuff we're not supposed to discuss here. Expected some mild after affects but nothing yet. Expected some mild after effects but nothing yet. Expected some mild after effects but nothing yet.

  5. Thanks Charlie. It is a minor nuisance of not being 100%. I am sure that I will be fine. However, I miss my gym, but I do not need to run myself down. I may feel like 50, but I am still 66. Lol!

You are one of the charter members of this thread so who am I to stop you.

  6. Sorry I'm late at congratulating you Joe @Trigger on your new endeavor of keeping this band of brothers together and trying to get some shaving in at the same time . Although I've veered off into the ditch and began letting my epidermis take over the once bare highway known as my face and head , I still come around for the wonderful commaraderie and shennagigans I've grown to love over the past few years.
I am quite confident you will do us all proud with your great leadership skills and friendly demeanor in steering the ship forward. Good luck my friend :smiley respect:

  8. I, as well appreciate our friendship Joe! Whenever the beard comes off I've been thinking about using one of Bill's straights he sent me . I do miss shaving and enjoying all the goodies I have in my collection of soaps, brushes , razors, scents etc.
  9. In due time, you will shave once again.
  10. So true Joe ! I will probably enjoy it twice as much as I did before if that is even possible . :)

    DE Shave # 360 - OCtober Shave

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Muhle R41
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: Jayaruh 410 with Omega #48 Boar
Lather: Ginger's Garden Obsession Type (1508.5 Project)
    Aftershave: Obsession A/S Balm
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

I decided to go with an OC today instead of a straight. I have a number of OC’s to choose from. The Muhle R41 had the honor of first up.

I am continuing with the 1508.5 Project. The bottom of the tub of soap has recently revealed itself. A nice easy three pass shave, without any incidents, as the R41 is a very efficient razor.

I hope you all are enjoying your Saturday gentlemen.
