Course Barbasol is made in America, too. Just ask Cliff Claven(who also goes by the name of John Ratzenberger)in his MADE IN AMERICA series on Youtube.
A few years back my father in-law had the sad job of clearing out his mothers house. Of course my boys and I helped, but during the work we found an old busted Stanley bench plane. My oldest son wanted it because it was family's, it's old and it's a tool. Besides being very rusted, the handle was extremely shattered, and half the lever cap was gone. Well he asked me about three months ago to see about working on it. I tried finding a replacement lever cap, but due to it's odd size it's nearly impossible without paying a small fortune. That said I sat down and removed the rust re-built and epoxied the handle, cleaned and oil the wood work, Painted the inside sole and re-assembled it with a thin coat of oil to preserve it. I found out it was produced between 1948-1961. I told him to keep it as a decoration and with out some costly parts it was to be kept as an heirloom only.
Fixed the fluidmaster in two toilets today. Not exciting to do but with the hard water in our area these things have to be cleaned every once in a while. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Child bed in progress, the stand is left to do. Sketch made by my wife to follow. The bed is for our first grand son that is expected middle of December. It is going to be a Rocking bed. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
Not necessarily manly or unmanly, but I ran into my high school computer science teacher tonight at a restaurant. She hasn't changed a day and it was a nice blast from the past. And yes, she remembered me. But she also knew my father who taught in town as well.
This is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to seeing it complete Congratulations as well!
Yesterday I re-wired my charger for my Macbook Pro ..... after seven years the mag cord connection decided to go the catastrophic route of peeling and exposing all the wires inside. Today I re-built a Hardright brush upside down for @IAmTheJody . I know it doesn't make sense, but due to it's damage it needed to be done this way. All that's needs to be done now is re-lettering.
I smoked two big pork butts, all night. About 20 lbs worth. It is fall apart tender, and moist. Pulled pork, baked potatoes, homemade green beans, with cornbread tonight. Mmmmm mmmmm good.
I was wondering how you got them to sit still while you smoked them, then decided the imagery of you smoking their butts was too disturbing to carry on that line of thought.
