Thanks Joseph. I really like Schick injectors, and as a car guy it only made sense to pick up a shifter. I really like the products in this shave, but sadly many are no longer made - especially the Octane soap from Mason Boutique. I just wish I would have picked up the splash before they closed their doors. The Sk-8 Shop aftershave is fun and unique. I must say in my opinion the older PAA aftershaves were stronger. Clark Improved King, CVS carbon steel blade, shave 1 First off I have to preface this with that picture is of @twhite razor he graciously lent me to try awhile back. I don't have a newer picture to use right now. When I tried this razor out originally I made the then mistake of praising it for being one of the best razors I've used and as such an around $20 razor if it even sold all of a sudden was in demand on ebay when they came up for sale which was not often to begin with. Took me at least a year and having to pay in the $40 range for one before I could finally acquire one. Finally got around to using it and it still holds up to my original assessement as a top tier razor period. This razor is akin to the Clog Pruf MKII version with the extra teeth on the guard but more efficient. End result BBS finish achieved.

Bigelow Shave Cream Jayaruh #206 2-band badger Gillette Double Ring 1905 Astra SP CWR Osage Rub It is OCtober, and I will try to shave with a different OC razor each day this month. So far, so good. I have 45+ OC razors to choose from. Today, I used my Gillette Double Ring razor. The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream lathered well with Jayaruh #206 two-band Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Double Ring with an Astra SP gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
It must be the lanolin or something else in the soap that hates me because I have no problems at all from the two Electric Sheep soaps which are mutton tallow based. If they ever reformulate the MWF I’d be willing to give it another go! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The soap has such a beautiful wintergreen scent, the lather is such a pleasure to work up - it’s so rich as well as super slick, the menthol sensation feels like liquid nitrogen on your face, and the skincare is A1. Shave of the Week Starting 4 October 2021 Gillette Tech razor Gillette 7 O'clock blade Burma Shave Boar brush Arko SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Assorted A/S Mighty fine shave with some very basic tools. The Burma Shave brush is a pretty darn nice one. Well broken in, it's more scrubby than scritchy and make a fine lather. So all the parts liked each other and my face is happy. GEMonday, OCtober 4th, 2021 Razor: Gem Damaskeene OC- Mfg 1912-15, nice tame mid range, amazing quality for that time period, this razor built the Gem Mfg company up into A.S.R. Corp eventually and became very large with a umbrella of different brand name products. Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(4) excellent blade, sharp & smooth with great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable. Soap: (IB)Razorock Amici, nice mild citrus & herp scent with great lather qualities. Brush: Yaqi 24 mm Boar brush, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristles tips, nice scrubber + good lather painter. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. Post shave: (IB)Razorock Amici aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer balm( excellent + scentless) Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Gem Damaskeene OC with a Gem coated blade.
