Awesome lather this morning and I'm really enjoying the SC Fortitude....good stuff.

The ATT completed three beautiful passes for an amazing shave.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday.
  2. Open Comb Tech-Prismatic/Twin Treet Falcon/Proraso. The huge cap span makes the Prismatic a very noisy razor, using 2 Falcon blades on the OC Tech plate quiets considerably. Marvelous comfort and efficiency. I could have done without a second lather on my head but used the excess to do a cleanup pass using the stock plate which I'll return to tomorrow.[IMG]

  7. Great shave kit, Barry! You’re really making that Snmirn adjustable your own. I wish you a happy and productive day!
  8. Cool-looking razor, Troy! It looks like it borrowed a bit from the Gillette OT design. Does it shave like an OT?

  9. Awesome shave kit, Danny. When I was in the city over the weekend, I retrieved my RR 400 brush. Plan to shave with it tomorrow.

This morning, I am feeling better and my temp is 99 + F. This bug that I caught was not serious, but it was a nuisance. I needed to get an open blade shave in this week. Tomorrow evening is the viewing so did not want to shave tomorrow with a heavy stubble. Tomorow, I will play it safe and use one of my Rockwells.
Danny's brush is truly a top performer. I always get great lathers. I developed a super wet, slick lather. Most people would not like it, but with almost a 2 day stubble, I need a goopy lather. I do not queeze out the excess water and just swirl the brush on the puck. Yes, it gets foamy, but I use it as a preshave and then I add more soap so that I get that soupy, slick consistency that I need for my stubble. Only needed 2 passes without pickups to give me a near BBS shave . I figured why chance getting a cut on a fine shave, especially that I am not 100%. For the same reason, I did not want to use one of my straights. I just did not want to wipe off the oil and then strop. Using a shavette was easier for me. Applied the alum block and did not get any feedback which told me that I got a close, comfortable shave. That's pretty good for a blade with 12 shaves. Finished my usual postshave ritual to end this wonderful shave. I am going to venture out today to get some fresh air. I will stop at the gym and do a very light 30 min cardio session. In other words, I need to pretend that I am out of shape. I will not do any strength training this week, just these light cardio sessions to get my blood moving again. Being in bed for days kind of knocked me out so I have to get back into my program gently. Take care.

  20. Jeff, the shave is more reminiscent of a NEW, rather than the old style. It is mild, mild but still pretty darn efficient. I mainly use it for over-due head shaves, but OCtober!
