Boy, I needed this shave very badly.
Both the headshave and face shave went off without a hitch. It is been many years that I allowed this growth to occupy my face. Artie took it down without incident. 2.5 passes gave me a near BBS. I was not looking for perfection today. The Shakesharp gave me a nice headshave, but I had to change the blades to finish the second pass. Again, I was not looking for perfection. Finished with my usual postshave routine and look very presentable. Have a nice day guys.

I also was not a fan of Sandpiper. Luckily, I was given a 1 oz sample from @Linuxguile Andrew when I was new to this thread. However, Andrew enabled me to be a Stirling fanboy.

Thanks Joe. Someone did a post about elephants flying. Just don't land on me, Babar!!! You and I differ about Sandpiper-that one, as a sample, DID knock my socks off-even ahead of Xecutive Man and Sharp Dressed Man, the real popular ones.

I think Andrew "has a house behind all his Stoylin products"....never said that to him, but he certainly has many.

    Hi all!!
    I'm still around.
Because of the crazy bladesters here and their help, I've been able to shave with some pretty great tools.

    20211012_194805.jpg

My favorite razor, blade and software combo for M-F.
This week I had Friday off so it was M-Th.

    20211012_194323.jpg

Trying to keep it fresh, I haven't used TOBS for many months and the printed razor for just as long.
    Friday was nice.

    20211012_194553.jpg

Saturday morning, well the Rapira was the weapon of choice.

    20211012_194740.jpg

Sunday the PAA OC bakelite did a fine job.

    20211012_194805.jpg

Monday, Tuesday back to my favorite tools and suds.
Yes the same picture, the same shave.
    Nice!!

    Uh oh!
Look what the mail man left for me.

    Tomorrow's shave for sure!

It sure is nice to be able to just grab any razor in the collection, choose a soap and after shave you're in the mood for, then go to town.
Couldn't have done it without this crazy bunch of shaving nuts..

Keeps the morning routine a little fresher.

    All
    Enjoy!!

Have a good night. I am at 98.6F. However, I will continue with the cold water/alcohol compress on my head and neck through the rest of the week. I want to make sure this god forsaken fever does not return. Drinking plenty of fluids and even had a pizza slice.

Very nice "back nine" shave with the same arsenal as the day hefore, but for the

    Brush-Stoylin "li'l brudder"

as I have never been one to use the same brush two days in a row. But it made for an "all-Stoylin" shave :). 0:45 to load the "brudder" with the Sandpiper soap. Shaving is the art of beginning with a specific pattern on the face and neck, then demolishing that pattern by just making sure to "cover all bases", going left and right, up and down, with some diagonal thrown in at times. No damaging issues for me today-3 red polkadots showed up once again, but they were easily handled by the Stoylin A.S. and cold-water rinse. At Cactus Nation I got what I missed yesterday. Good feeling. The aftershave does go on a little tough, but settles down gradually. Pierre Cardin fragrance again(male parfum)to finish it off. Super Duper Excellent.

Wardonia/Kai/MDC. Another remarkable shave. It's extremely uncommon for me not to do either second lather or touch ups with an SE on my head shave, putting the Wardonia in a very exclusive club. While my punch cuts through the Falcon blades like butter, the construction of the Kai blade makes it difficult to get a clean cut, meaning somewhat different performance on one side vs the other. Not a big deal.

I'm learning that MDC is far superior in coexisting with the charcoal soap I use before shaving, I'll probably just stick with it
