  5. Good morning all!
I've used my Yaqi Excalibur for 3 days now.
So to be fair to the group that started me down this crazy shave path, I'll report on my experience with it.

    20211015_081725.jpg

First, I used no prep other than slothering on the soap.
You should also know I skin lather, no mug, using warm water.
I also used a new blade each shave.
I did both face and head as normal.

    First shave.
The shave was a little rougher than I'd hoped for to start out with.
The face wasn't irritated or anything like that, but not as comfortable as I like.
By the time I got to the left side, I start on the right, I've smoothed it out.
    the head shave was nice.
    One pass, work shave.

    Second shave.
Now that I've found the right angle, at least that's what I figured, off I go.
The first couple swipes were off a bit, but after a few, I'm back on my game.
The second shave was a much more comfortable ordeal..
The head shave easy, comfortable and nuce.
    One pass.

    Third shave, this morning.
Well I took right off mowing down the new growth like a cutter bar in a hay field.
The first pass was a delight and about as good as it can be using a razor with a safety bar.
So I went for a second pass.
It was smooth running and close.
So close a third pass was not necessary.
The head shave was top notch.
I'm clean, and ready for the long day ahead.

Now there were no nicks, cuts, burns or weepers during the time with the Excalibur.
Although I was a little put off at first by a heavy handle, it seemed inconsequential after the first shave..
I really like the feel and close work it does on the gourd.
    Wonderful head shave, very nice.
    Very nice.

A winner in my book to say the least.
A clean comfortable shave can be had with this bad boy, no irritation, no problem.

    All
    Enjoy

  7. Well, this is my last temp report. This morning my temo was 96.3.F It is safe to say that I am well. The illness that I experienced was no joke and am glad it is behind me. Thanks for your thoughts.

  8. Same setup, this day Mark Cross beard, Wardonia head. With MDC I find i don't even need to rinse the charcoal soap pre shave. I sold a couple razors this week, contemplating more thanks to the Wardonia experience.[IMG]

Superb Friday shave! The FA Clauberg CopperKing did a masterful job mowing down a day’s growth of whiskers. The Van Yulay Citrus Basil paired nicely with the Pinaud Citrus Musk.

Another fine weather day here on LI perfect for whatever the MMOC brings my way. The missus had an evening dinner with a former boss so my little man and I will have some time to ourselves.
Hope your all have a great day gentlemen.
