I've been using Tapatalk for pics, but I hate navigating the forum with it. Easiest pc way I've found to "resize" is I email the pic to myself from my cell, view on my pc, and then use the sniping tool. Sizes it just right every time, but what a hassle.
I am shaving with my Gillette 46-47 Aristocrat tomorrow for my Birthday Shave. It will do the first pass. Since it is OCtober, I will finish the shave with my Goodwill French OC. The Aristocrat was my first acquisition from the wild back in 2012 when I returned to wet shaving. It was well used. I did not know of its year of origin at the time. I gave it to my oldest son, and he eventually returned it to me. When I realized it was my birth era razor, I had it replated in 2017. Before replating. After replating.

What a fantastic tool the Monobloc #55 is. Took it out again today, it's like no other Gillette I own...I can't describe how smooth and solid the TTO mechanism works compared to my other Gillette TTO's. As for the shave, it's so efficient it's amazing. Three days growth came off in the first pass so well that the second pass was biel not necessary. Highly recommend one of you don't have one already.
