  5. I usually do not post on my headshaves, because they usually are great. I rarely do an above the shoulder shave. I didn't take a pic, but you will get the idea.

    JR #290 white synthetic brush
    Arko SS
    Proraso AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's WH
    Dome hair: 3 days

I have to say everytime I use Arko for my headshaves, the results are great! It really is my go to soap for my domeshaves. The Rocky 6C is such a fine razor. I rarely nick myself with it and that is due to operator error by being unfocused.
Three passes and pickups gave me a cueball smooth shave. I did not feel any stinging or zinging from the alum. Witch hazel was applied and the Proraso AS afterwards. I look great and refreshed. Have a great day guys!

  8. The focus month sounds a good idea...We are all guilty of reaching for our favourite shaving assortments, and absentmindedly our other shaving items are in-frequently used and left to gather dust, which is something i personally hate....'Having too much of something isn't always a good thing, we forget to appreciate and use it'.
I'm in with the ' November Focus Month' i haven't gave my Parker 98r a run out for a while, so i will use it for the full month. The Parker 98r was my first proper DE razor i bought when i introduced myself to the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving...After that i developed a passion for parker razors and now have 10 different models in my humble DE razor collection...However, since then i've in-frequently used my 98r, so it will be good to reacquaint myself to it. Great idea Joe. Take care. Yours-Barry.

  16. Good morning all. Got the day off for today other than having to go to a briefing this morning, then we are dismissed for the weekend, so I’m gonna do some catching up on sleep. Anyway this morning’s shave went very well. Soap numbed me up a bit as it should. Have a great day!

Brush: Dogwood Handcrafts 26 mm Tuxedo
Lather: Proraso Aloe and Vitamin E
    Aftershave: Floid Genuine
    Additional Care:

    Nivea Cool Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

Happy Friday morning gentlemen. Yesterday I decided to refresh two razors on the lapping film. This shave and tomorrow’s will feature the refreshed blades, Drew Dick Damascus and the W &B No. 1.
The performance of the W&B in this mornings shave was the bomb. There is a definite noticeable improvement in its ability to easily slice through this morning’s stubble. Even the trouble areas, jawline hinge, are smoother.

The Proraso and Floid made for a classic vibe of this shave. I am smelling and looking good for my trip to PT.

Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.
