@Trigger told me about that Maggard knot earlier. I may well look into it.

I'll admit I got a giggle out of this.

Where to start. I've been on an absolute tear lately on a certain auction site. I hadn't been paying attention but it occurred to me that many sellers will combine orders to save on shipping which, when buying a $10-$20 vintage razor, paying $5-$10 in shipping adds a lot to the acquisition cost. Anyway, yet another way for me to justify spending money on razors. One seller had a number of very nice user-grade razors, mostly GEMs that I have yet to try so I went ahead and bought them all along with a Schick injector and yet another Schick Krona (just in case!).







I hadn't heard of an Ever-Ready Shovelhead. It is such a neat little guy, with a flip over head. The handle is a tad on the small side for me but it gets the job done.







And lastly, I hadn't yet checked Facebook's marketplace so I poked around and found a King C. Gillette razor and 20 blades for a steal so I just had to grab it as well. I already have one so I'll probably gift it to a friend.

My order from PAA came very early this morning.
