  1. Monday and today's shaves.
    20211102_063407.jpg
Razorock Jaws on Weber bulldog handle.
    Astra SP blade (?)
    Soap Commander Fortitude shave soap.
    Simpson T3 Trafalgar brush.
    Royal Copenhagen cologne.

For some reason I just went with the same gear as Monday. When it is great.......why stop?

The RR Jaws is just a hard razor to beat especially at its price point. The SC Fortitude sample is getting thin so I see an order in future. I really love scent and the performance is top notch.

Three nice passes and it was in the bag.

My tip for today is to take your time making your lather. I think we get in a hurry and short change our lather. I have found that if I spend a little more time whipping the lather it is better lather.

Work is busy this week....things piled up while I was on vacation.

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday and welcome to the newbies joining the 30DC....I just hope we have not scared you off already. :D

    Take care!

  2. Awesome shaves, Danny! I sometimes use the same setups consecutively because I had great shaves from them. I also think we haven't scared our new members. Lol!

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Wade & Butcher 5/8 French Point
    Brush: JTSpartan Boar
    Lather: Razorock XXX
    Aftershave: Floid Genuine
    Additional Care:
    Nivea Cool Balm
    Stirling Alum Block
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

Day 2 of the same setup as yesterday except for the aftershave and EdT. I will switch up the hardware tomorrow for the last two days of the mini focus for this week.

This morning’s shave surpassed yesterday’s in closeness. All other aspects of this shave mirrored the superb experience of yesterday. Three passes of comfort and closeness without any negativity.

The hardware for tomorrow and Friday will feature the Wade & Butcher 13/16 “Bow” and the Colorado Razor Designs (CRD) Patriotic Swirl Synthetic.

i hope you all had a great day gentlemen.

  7. Wonderful shave. I see you have the Timeless Travel Bowl. It does produce a wonderful lather.
Destin scent - can’t be all bad, it would bring back fond memories for me.

  11. Thanks Joe. As a head shaver, I make twice as much lather, so the Timeless bowl is great for the extra volume, AND I can't break it :). I own the two least expensive items from Timeless, this excellent bowl and the aluminum Timeless razor from "Scratch & Dent." A superior razor WITH a stand, and not a scratch on it. Between the Timeless aluminum and the Henson, I discovered I have a preference for lighter razors, and not just because they are light in the hand; they tend to be light on the wallet!

  13. Thanks Joe. The Stirling Christmas Eve scent is definitely in my top tier as far as frags. However, I will never be in Maestro's league. @Primotenore.

  18. Thanks Gary! I have gotten good shaves with the lowly VDH razor, but somehow I just never used it much. It is why I am doing a 10 shave focus with it to really appreciate it more than I have.

  20. i guess i am biased at this point and am quite used to and firmly set in my gillette ways these days.any razor including gillettes i didn't get along with with hit the road in short order.there are a couple i miss like my red tip rocket, but that's only for collectors sake.which i am not.honestly i am pairing down the collection and upgrading the worn ones for nice cased sets.the cooper, schicks, merkers and valets are for novelty and some will eventually be passed along.:):eatdrink047:
