The time has to be right and the beard has to be several days old, and then this is an efficient piece of machinery, for me that is. Thanks Gary.
Pointiest teeth of any in my collection. Not really a good time. Sent from my Pixel 5a using Tapatalk
I don't know, I've not ever shaved with one but the Muhle R41 couldn't be anymore aggressive than an abc set, could it?
ABC isn't aggressive it's just uncomfortable . Some iKon razors also suffer the pointy teeth syndrome. Sent from my Pixel 5a using Tapatalk
Crazy psycho stuff... I posted earlier in the waiting to arrive thread that my LD 500 Rocket (paperclip), psycho, and flare tip rocket arrived... I did not realize this psycho was made in England, and didn't expect the cap and baseplate to be different than my USA psycho. No date code on the English psycho, or Gillette logo, just made in England stamped on top of the baseplate. Anyone know what years these were? Enjoy the comparison shots, look forward to your comments as always! Thanks. Sent from my SM-G977U using Tapatalk
BTW, I loosened the caps in the first shot to show the differences in head geometry better... here's a fully tightened side profile shot. Sent from my SM-G977U using Tapatalk
The change in the design of the baseplate was done on all Tech razors regardless of origin sometime in 62 or no later than 63. Go look at tech razors made in 61 and 64 on ebay to see the change. Your English one is 62ish or later and the American one 62ish or earlier. With that said the Pyscho Tech razors were meant to be safe not and are not good performing shavers for that reason. Nice collector pieces for a shave cave but not a daily driver type of razor.
