OK, I decided to use the same setup from this morning's headshave, but I switched razors to go with the Parker. I put a new Rockwell blade in this razor to boot.
I decided to bowl lather once again, and I got a nice, creamy lather. If you bowl lather correctly, then you just have to paint it on your face because there's no need to scrub it on unless you want to do so.
Two passes gave me a close comfortable shave. I was careful about going over my slice and succeeded to do it without a problem. Finished with my usual postshave routine and ending it with a healthy splash of Old Spice. Have a good night!

Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Pomegranate & Apple Extract Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Sagrada Familia Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Proraso Sandalwood Soap.
Blade: Treet 7 Days Platinum. ( D1)
Razor: Parker 98r.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Brut ASL./L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

A nice early morning shave to start the day off, the parker 98r performed wonderfully with the fresh Treet 7DP blade...These blades are really starting to grow on me...The Proraso Sandalwood Soap provides an excellent lather.
A Enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Today’s and tomorrow’s shave will feature this wonderful shave setup. The silver tip badger whipped up a very slick lather to assist in an effortless three pass BBS. The post shave featured a nonexistent alum report. The witch hazel, balm and splash finished off this shave nicely.

I am out and about early this morning as my son forgot to take his laptop to school. So being the good father I am, I dropped it off to his school. I decided to treat myself to breakfast at a local breakfast joint, The Sound Beach Diner. Joe, @Trigger, is familiar with this establishment. Perhaps we may have one of our LI 30DC Chapter meet ups here in the future.

Later today I will continue with my blade restoration project on the A. Witte Solace. Up next I. The progression is the 2000 K grit wet/dry paper. Below is a picture of the blade following the 1500k grip paper

Awesome shave Joe. I predominantly bowl lather almost all my shaves. The only time I may face lather is with the MWF and with the two shave sticks I have. I am able to whip up a nice lather in the bowl. I do enjoy scrubbing in the soap on the face for the first pass for about a count of 50 to aid in softening up the whiskers. The second and third pass I usually just paint on the soap. I just enjoy the entire process.
