  3. Thanks Joe. It was a nice surprise that the Fatboy and Cella gave me a wonderful and almost effortless headshave.

  4. Thanks Joe. We all have different lathering methods. I lather from the puck and then apply on my face. I scrub and then paint the lather. I only bowl lather just to change up the routine every now and then.

I was in the move to shave tonight and Artie got the call. I haven't used this monster since Oct 12 so it was time to do so. Surprisingly, I didn't lose my touch with this magnificent razor. It gave me a near BBS with 2 1/2 passes without any red liquid oozing out nor irritation. Alum feedback was nonexistent so it really was a close comfortable shave. Finished with the witch hazel and the Spice Aftershave. It truly was a nice, relaxing and enjoyable night. Good night gents!
  11. Yea I wanna say my bottle is from around 73 so that sounds about right. Real good juice for sure!

    Razor: Double Duck Goldedge
    Brush: Classic Shaving Silver Blue
Lather: Los Jabones de Joserra Gredos
Aftershave: Los Jabones de Joserra Gredos
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

A bright and chilly morning here on LI. The Gredos seemed perfect for the weather. The Double Duck Goldedge delivered another supremely close shave. I have come to expect nothing less from this razor.

The usual three passes plus the post shave treatment have me sent for whatever the day brings. The plan for the day is to take my son for a haircut and to deal with another round of leaf roundup.

Since tomorrow is a holiday, I will deviate from my November Mid Week Mini Focus for one day. Tomorrow’s shave with feature the Declaration Grooming/Chatillon Lux Gratiot League Square. It is such a fabulous scent and I am looking forward to it.

    Have a great day gentlemen.

  18. OH man, I REALLY wanted to give my shave this morning an OUTTA............as the combination of Stoylin pre-shave bodywash and Bill Neumann A.S. can't be beat (on my skin anyway). However, I missed a spot on the right cheek and had trouble on the jawline. All else went really well, especially in clearing the area just below the jawline, and at the sideburn area. Easy does it up NW Porcupine, nice work at S. Porcupine. No cuts/Knicks. One pass, as is usual for magnificent canned goo. I'll have to settle for a Most Excellent ( course that isn't such a bad grade to "settle" for).
