Wednesday morning: Pre shave facial wash with Dove soap Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/new Minora Bundubeard Rooi Afrikaner SS Thayer’s Lavender Witch Hazel Nip Man ASB Old Spice Classic AS Splash Old Spice Classic Cologne Jaco’s soaps are absolutely awesome - his Rooi Afrikaner is tallow based and it has such a nice herbal scent, the lather is so thick, rich, as well as slick, and it has great skincare. The Thayer’s Lavender witch hazel has very little scent to it but it’s very soothing, the Nip Man balm is from the UK and it’s got a lovely minty scent along with lots of moisturizing as well as a good cooling effect, and the Old Spice Classic aftershave felt great on my face - the scent is different from the original Shulton version but it’s still nice enough I guess. DE SOTD, Nov 24th 2021 Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo.72-Mfg 2021> excellent mid range, easy to manipulate the face, best clamping design I have compared to my other DE razors, I like the dimpled safety bar because it allows the lather to protect the skin better IMO. Blade: Gillette Nacet (1) excellent sharpness & smooth with great longevity. Soap: Razorock Lavender , nice masculine scent lavender with excellent lather qualities.(misted) Brush: Yaqi 24mm 2band badger, Mountain lake handle, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tops, nice scrubber, great lather painter. This brush seems to get more enjoyable as it gets used a little more, very nice brush. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(balm)+ scentless. Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + 1 blemish weeper= Excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Nacet blade. Have some great shaves!
