Excellent start to the day. Prior to this shave I completed my PT routine and practice run with the X3Bar Push workout with very light bands. I am sure the doctor will give the full go ahead to begin working out in a great capacity after next weeks post surgery check up.

On the agenda today is the LI Chapter 30DC meet up wit Joe, @Trigger, for breakfast followed by continued blade restoration. Up next to be restored will be the Genco straight which I obtained for $10.

This mornings shave has been a continuation of an Autumn theme shave which features one of the two Micromatics I have in the den. Once again, a superb shave without any incidents which has left my face super smooth and comfortable. I love the scent of this soap and splash.

Post 30DC meeting: Joe and I out did ourselves. Two and three-quarter hours of good food and great conversation.

Well, my car was running hot and thought it was my thermostat so I brought it to my mechanic. Of course, he has a lot of work so if it was the Stat, then he would not be able to get to it until Thursday. He checked under the hood and it turned out to be the upper radiator hose. He took care of it when he didn't have to do so. I gave him a little extra over the bill. Hey, it is important to treat your mechanic well when he goes over and above, even though it was an easy repair job. Hey! It's Christmas season so why not spread a little joy! Needless to say, I am quite relieved.

I can just rubber stamp my great experiences lathering with Stirling soaps. It likes water and if you get the soap/water ratio right, then you will get a slick, creamy lather. This soap's scent is simply marvelous.
I haven't used the Engels' straight for quite a while so I needed to bring it out this evening. I bought this blade on Flea Bay for 25 to 30 dollars and it really is a good, quality vintage shaver. I like the yellow scales and the metal bolsters that are affixed to it. Did a with-the-grain and an against-the-grain pass for a wonderful near BBS shave. Blood and irritation was nowhere to be found.
Did my usual post shave routine and finishing with a splash of the matching juice. This is my last shave for the month and I must say that it ended well for me. Everyone had great shaves this month so let's end it with great shaves tomorrow. Have a good evening.

Yes I know pretty much the same shave everyday but I’m trying to burn through some soap. Needless to say we got a new ysl fragrance. This banger got me lots of complements from the ladies within the first day of wearing it, so I’m not disappointed. Real nice tonka bean scent.

Truthfully, I don't think you need any cologne to have sway with the young ladies. You are Marine and a good looking young man to boot and that is a deadly combo for a lady to resist.
