Monday morning shave, Geneva Cutlery 6/8”. I must say that I love this razor first time out. Honed it yesterday. A quality close to CVH! Smooth as a peach . Smiling all the way to work

Geneva/Genco made good razors Hans, which model is it? It looks hollow.

Check out the Fremont, Ohio razors like Clauss, I think that you’ll find them equals.

A friend recently got a Le Jaguar so I thought that I’d get my pair out for the shave today in his honor. Le Jaguar was reportedly bought by Le Grelot which was then bought by Thiers-Issard. I would be nice to see some new Jags!

Hi Steve, yes it is hollow. Could be one reason why I like it. Also the steel quality seems to be really good. I have never succeeded to get a Sheffield razor that sharp as this Geneva.

Do you have extra blades for the Le Coultre, Tom?

Filly 14 Novodur, Cream and AS were AdP and a SOC did the lathering.

Thank you Joe! I don’t think I have many Swiss blades, so this is a cool piece in my collection. I am always on the look out for one with the screw that looks more like a winder for a timepiece, as I think that is a unique touch from this maker.

No. I didn’t get lucky enough to find one with the spare blade and screwdriver as part of the set.
Actually, I may have to look… I purchased a lot with 10 frameback blades a while back. There may be one hidden in there. :)
