This will be the first use of this recently assembled full set of Bvlgari Man in Black. I chose to to put in a fresh Feather blade this time around. I have no idea how the shaving soap will lather or how well it will protect, so I was back and forth between risking using a Feather blade or to play it safer with my last KAI blade (which, IMO, shaves the best of any blade in the EJ Kelvin). I decided to take a risk to really test the new soap with the Feather. I'll find out what happens in the morning.

Today was my first use of the new PAA blades with a RazoRock Mamba 70. It was alright but I think it would work better in a more aggressive razor. I'll try that on my next shave, probably one of my adjustables. Stirling Gentleman is definitely my favorite scent! The little brush is from the Mystery Box. I am having too much fun!

These King C. Gillette blades seem to be very good indeed - I have a couple left from a pack that came with a razor by that name which turned out to be completely worthless. Fernando’s Frosted Bay Rum soap is tallow based like all of his other ones, the scent is gorgeous, I love how it lathers up so THICK, rich, and SLICK, the menthol sensation is terrific, and the skincare is perfect. The Prep and the Pinaud Bay Rum aftershave were such a wonderful finish. What a cracking good BBS shave this was!

The Nodachi has not seen the light of day since June the 15th and I can honestly say this was my best shave with it to date. Three nice smooth passes with no blood loss and the alum was quiet. The Nodachi demands respect with no pressure but can deliver an awesome shave.

The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh 423 2-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Christy Razor with a Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

SOTD WEDNESDAY MORNING, DECEMBER 8, 2021

Another excellent Nancy Boy Signature shave today following on the excellent Feather DX shave yesterday. Today I shaved with the Rigarazor 7/8 and my Eclipse Red Ring, both excellent shaving tools. Not much to comment on other than experiencing another superlative mug and dome shave. The Rigarazor’s 9 Ball edge smoothed out all my facial stubble, and the Kai blade in the superb Eclipse Red Ring blade holder did the same. I’m velveteen smooth from dome to shoulders.

Razor: Rigarazor 7/8 (Mug), Eclipse Red Ring (Dome)
BLADE: Kai DE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Alpha Shaving T-400 with 24mm Hybrid Knot Ferrule
CREAM: Nancy Boy Signature
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Nancy Boy Signature Scent AS Balm.

I tell ya, Phoenix keeps coming up with more new ones and I hope they don't kill some old ones to make room. But Schmitty the owner did send me an e-mail once telling me he was ABOUT to kill one-thus a warning to buy it ASAP before it was away for good. I didn't care for it much anyway, so I didn;t buy it.
