Adding some more modern blades to the stable…
The first is a J3 Kamisori. I have seen his work on the Bay and Etsy, but never pulled the trigger. This used model presented itself at a risk free price, so I bid.

It’s been used, so it had some edge imperfections and some water spots, but I took that as a good sign. Fixed the issues and took it for a spin… seems like good quality. Now just need to make a holder.
The second arrival was from a seller that seems to have some of Robert Williams’s more basic models/semi-customs. This faux frameback is a grind I find interesting, and while the scale design could be love it/ hate it, I enjoy it.

This was a brilliant shave right out of the box, just with some stropping.

Probably just a few years old, but I have seen 3 sell in the last couple months, so not sure how many of these are still out there.
And finally, a real custom… and another Williams.

I went back and forth, pulling it in and out of my watch list. The seller thinks it is from around 2012, as it just has “Williams” on the tang. I just kept coming back to it, and started to fall in love with the shape.

It seems to me like a homage to the De Pew razor, and it slims down to just below 5/8 at the point. It also has a little of the design he made for SRP in there. Now that I have it in hand, the scales are beautiful and the spine detail stands out for me.

Really glad I was able to come to a deal.
Happy hunting.
