Good thread to bump up! For me, Williams + Noxema was the best. Williams + Rilanja or Arko Moist is a close second.
Triple Milled Soap + Real Shave Co. Cream (dirt cheap, good) + Glycerin. Honestly, I think creams and soaps do enough on their own, but if you want to superlather, I think adding glycerin is decided plus. Great way to kill off small bits of SC left in a tube, etc...
I'm with Kaveh on this one. Glycerin is a great boon to super lather. I've got a lot of favored combos. The combination that provides the best lather (best lubrication, glide and cushion) is TGQ soap (don't know the name of the scent - it's a sample of an upcoming soap labeled #5) mixed with TSD Wheat Iced Minted Sage Cream. My favorite scent is Tabac Soap with TOBS Mr. Taylor SC. Or maybe its Tabac and TSD Patchouli Rose SC. Or maybe Williams Soap and TSD Juniper SC. Or... :ashamed001
