Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Anbbas Boar.
Face Lather.
Lather : Ach Brito Mogno Shaving Soap.
Blade: Super Max Blue Diamond Titanium. (D2)
Razor: Merkur 39c.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Davidoff Cool water ASL./Cien Sensitive ASB.

A wonderful shave from the Merkur 39c to finish my shaving week off on a high note...

The Super Max BDP blade has been a wonderful match with each razor throughout the week.

The Ach Brito Mogno soap is a wonderful performer it get top marks for it's performance scent protection, slickness & post shave.

Another enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine.

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #395 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 58 Gillette Rocket Razor with a Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Florida Water Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

That’s true but the sting only lasts for a second and then the soothing sensation kicks in.

Thursday morning’s Grand Freeze:

Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap

Any colder than this and I think my face would have disintegrated - this Frosted Lavender soap has some major menthol in it - in fact it easily compares to any of the Stirling Glacials in terms of freezing power. It’s tallow based, the scent is beautiful, the lather is so thick, rich, super slick as well as protective, the menthol sensation hits like a sledgehammer, and the skincare is perfect. The Prep needs no description because it’s so good, and the Frosted Lavender aftershave is witch hazel based, it has the same lovely scent as the soap, and it’s so frigid. Another picture perfect BBS shave that I did in three passes!

Not sure Dave, it's more QC issues but once you get it figured out it is quite a good shave IMO. I'm not sure if Yaqi makes these stainless steel heads or they are farmed out to other machine shops. Once they figure things out they simply have good products that work I have experienced.
Gillette and other Mfg's have different methods of testing.

DE SOTD, Thur, Dec23rd 2021

Razor: Razorock 2nd Generation Lupo.72- Excellent mid range, excellent design, best de razor in my razor rotation Harem most times using it(this changes from time to time ), carefree shaving mostly, 2/1000 thousands of a inch positive blade exposure. Glad I bought it.
Blade: Gillette Astra SP (4) Sharp & smooth with good longevity.
Soap: Razorock XXX, nice fresh scent when dried down, excellent lather qualities. (Misted)
Brush: Yaqi orbital ring 24mm boar bristle brush, New, this brush went through the cold water in fridge treatment for 3 days & every 12 hrs approx towel dried and is about 70-80% broke in(lots of split ends)= Excellent lather generator, split end bristle hair soft tips, great scrub, great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock XXX AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(balm) + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Astra SP blade.

This ATT SE1 is one of the early AC/ SE Razors, but IMHO holds its own against some of the more modern ones performance wise. It does not compare price wise with some of them but it delivers good Shaves,.I am getting consistently top quality trouble Shaves with it since pairing it up with a Feather guarded blade.

I would say it is a little bit of everything including essence of kitchen sink!
Below is a copy of the notes PAA provided. I find the scent on this to be mild and somewhat muddled or generic.
It is pleasant to me, but nothing stands out too much or is bold in the scent.
