Here’s something that you don’t see too often. No, not the nice old W&B, a new pristine tub of AdP Colonia. The old one is done. Brush was a M&F Blonde Badger and a little AdP Colonia Intensa finished up a great shave.
…and just in time to provide a little shaving synchronicity my new jar of Baume.be arrived today just before my shave. Thanks @b1hart - it’s everything you said it would be - and maybe more. I’d like it even better if they offered a lavender scent and made the tub just a bit wider but the shave it enabled was nothing short of superb. This razor has given me more shaves than any in my collection (I learned on it) and today was undoubtedly the best ever. Was it the shaving cream? I don’t know but it sure felt great. Better than good! It really was a stand-out, exceptional shave. I was able to shave over the small divot from the last shave without opening it up. I don’t think I could have ended up with a smoother shave

Filarmonica 14 user (and a favorite shaver), Cream and balm were I Coloniali Rhubarb and an Omega 49 did the lathering. Since New Years, I’ve polished off the last of a tub of AdP and this cream has about 1 shave left in it, maybe 2 if I work at it. Not too bad for January 9th.
January 9th Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - Shave Soap and Star Jelly - Future Fiction Zenith synthetic Feather AC DX (kamisori style) Schick Proline Perfumer's Choice #9 - Mojo (homage to Tom Ford - Oud Wood) A favorite razor shaped object.....always fun to use, great shaves, dolphin smooth nearly every time. First 2022 acquisition, enabled by @Primotenore. Perfumer's Choice (Milton Lloyd) is a 'copy cat' perfumer based in the UK. The #10 'Mojo' fragrance....just incredible. Some of the fragrantica.com reviews say it's an equal, if not better than the original it copies. Their description much better than anything I can put together: No 10 by Mojo by Milton Lloyd is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. Number 10 'Mojo' was launched in 2021. Top notes are Aromatic Spices and Brazilian Rosewood; middle notes are Cardamom and Agarwood (Oud); base notes are Sandalwood, Vetiver, Amber and Tonka Bean. Wifey Super approved.
Not really Jeff, I have only one pair that I’ve never honed or used. Other than those, I don’t have any that are really rare or unusual, or have a provenance to a famous person. I have a couple of NOS/mint Fillys that I don’t use much because I have others like the Novodur above, But I have honed them with tape and have used them. Usually the ones that I don’t use much are ones that are not easily replaceable.
