First mail call of 2022. Today I got a vintage full bottle of Old Spice Leather aftershave from 1985, a bottle of Terre D’Hermes aftershave and a Yaqi Adjustable razor.
Hi Friends, I’m happy. Just bought this beauty on Ebay. An old Scuttle Mug. I think it’s called so. Cobalt blue…curious on this wonderful, classic item which brings so much history with it. So, this is my first haul in 2022. Greetings Thorsten
After a year of nothing shave related showing up (that NB '21 I agreed to).....I finally have a mail call to report. First up, a PIF from fellow fraghead extraordinaire, Joseph aka @Primotenore. 'The Man, Silver', an EdT from Milton Lloyd perfumers. This is a clone of an 80s fragrance from YSL, Kouros. I'll be using it very soon. The other two samples were surprises, one by Initio called 'Oud for Greatness', the smallest from a perfumer named Layton...I'll have to do some more research. All 3 are instant favs. Also in the mail.....first purchase of 2022. More from Milton Lloyd (now aka Perfumer's Choice). A gift set of 2 EdPs. PC #9 is 'Victor', a brighter fougère (very very nice!). PC #10 is 'Mojo', and is a clone of Tom Ford's Oud Wood. It is spectacular (some reviews mention it being better than the TF version it dupes). All 3 Milton Lloyd bottles are pressurized sprays. Very upfront, in your face fragrances (in a great way, at least imo). Dry down after an hour is preferable....otherwise you're 'that guy' in the room with too much cologne on even as you open the door. Great bargain finds!
Monday’s mail call is in 2 parts. First from Ginger’s Garden is ECWS Chocolate Birthday Cake soap and aftershave. Second from The Razor Company is an Extro Cosmesi synthetic shave brush and Extro Cosmesi Due Novembre shave soap. The Due Novembre smells like Terre D’Hermes.
A couple of things came in. The fatboy isnt bad the case isnt great but functions 3 tallow soaps and one non tallow were in the container as well as 2 boar brushes. The seller stated it was packaged incorrectly without the mug but extra soaps and brush. The scent of the soaps remind me of Mitchell Wool Fat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Interesting. I didn’t know the soap came in two flavors. I have a few tucked away so I’ll have to investigate.
I won a PIF from @GAW9576 for a Schick G Type with a beautiful custom handle. I absolutely love this thing! I can't wait to use it.
