    Soap: Stirling Soap Co. - Ben Franklin
    A/S: Pinaud Lilac Vegetal

    Second time out with the Parker this evening. Nice smooth face and head shave. Does not have quite the same efficiency of others, but the shave was smooth and there was no blood left behind. Very nice.

    I went on a little spending spree a few weeks ago at Stirling Soap Co. to stock up on some samples. I have always been curious about Ben Franklin. With a boar brush the lather whipped up in seconds. The scent on this has an old world quality to it. Not soapy, not floral, not cologne. I read somewhere that the benzoine is what gives it the unique character.

    As I was shaving I was struck by the idea that it would pair perfectly with the Veg. Yes, this is a divine pairing. If you are one of the Veg's "called," you might just have to try this soap.

    That is the most unfortunate product description I have ever seen. What was Dr. Rod thinking? I guess it worked; I bought it anyway. Seriously, it is worth a try if you are a Veg head.
