    Good Evening!

    Straight Shave #338
    15/16 Wostenholm (Wosty) near wedge
JR # 386 Silvertip Badger Brush
    Razorock XX SS
Stirling LE Blood on Steel 2019 AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 32 hrs

I decided to pick out my #1 brush to whip up the lather. Silvertip are really soft and are quite challenging to face lather because they are lather hogs. I frothed the soap to use the bloom water as the preshave. This brush really made a creamy, slick lather. This soap gives a great lather. Although it has a pleasant scent, it is very mild so that you can pair it with any aftershave.

It's been awhile since I picked up this razor. @JACarbone Joe has been asking me to bring it out. So, here it is Joe! This one's for you. This razor mowed down my stubble like a hole punch going through a sheet of paper. I could have called it quits after 1 pass. However, 2.5 passes gave me an error-free smooth, comfortable shave. This razor is quite forgiving because of the heavier grind. It is an easier straight razor to shave your face because there is little edge flex compared to a full hollow grind. However, I have to account for the thickness of the blade so that I have to drop the edge on my skin more so to get the right shave angle.

The postshave was fine. Had some stinging on my neck from the alum. After the witch hazel treatment, I applied that wonderful aftershave made especially for the 2019 30 DC meetup in St. Louis. I didn't attend, but was able to get the bundle. It was renamed Tsuka, but it has been discontinued. It is a cologne scent and it smells great. If Stirling makes it again, then I recommend it.
    Have a great night guys!

    Greetings,

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend... Carrying on with the black carbon blade, another great blade from the Treet camp that i have infrequently used.
It's been a while since i last used the parker 24C which paired together with the Treet black carbon blade very nicely with no issues making a smooth non-aggressive combo.
The 24c is my least aggressive OC razor in my den but like all my parker razors it still gives an efficient shave when you apply a steeper shaving angle.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel on it's maiden outing.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.
