thank you Paul.this is a great soap,hard milled.made in germany. some say by the Klar company..but not positive.no longer available at present time it seems.other scents are made in the netherlands..

Sunday Schick shave, Jan 23rd 2022

Razor: Schick G type, Canadian variant, Mfg 1940's-50's NDCodes, mid range, light weight and easy to work the face & fairly inexpensive to this day to own IMO for a working grade one.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE (8) excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore, nice light tobacco with Vanillia with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Moka express synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud soft tips, gentle scrub + excellent painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my Schick G type Canadian variant with a Personna coated blade.

Superb shave today, thanks to a generous gift from a friend. Bon Vivant is an excellent scent. Der Vorschlaghammer smoothly removed three days growth, my face feels and smells great.

I haven't spent much time with my DE razors over the past few years and was thinking about thinning the collection a bit, but I had a fantastic shave this morning.

 

I agree! I haven't used mine for months, but today's shave was so pleasant and comfortable. I'm going to stick with it for several days
