I cannot get the M to shave at all below 5. I had been using it at 6.5 or so. For this shave I dialed it up to 8 and employed my recently developed ninja feather-light touch technique. Results were fine on cheeks, too much stubble on the neck.

Seems a waste to set this one aside with only 3 shaves in on the blade, but I am more disturbed that I wasted a rare Personna 74 tungsten on this razor when I first got it. Two bloodbaths was enough. I will likely be looking to move this razor along to someone who will appreciate it more.

What I've done when moving on from an injector with a blade that was both new and one I wanted, was to carefully load a sChick blade, and really carefully reload the wanted blade back into the dispenser. Both times that I did this I didn't notice any degradation of the blade. But be careful about reloading, both the blade edges and your fingers!

Great idea. If/when a blade needs changing from the others, I can load the old blade in the dispenser, then it becomes the placeholder. Or I can just use a fresh Ted Pella to eject the good blade and it becomes the placeholder.

No tipping of the hand allowed, just reapplication. Fantastic shave Paul.

Fantastic Proraso Friday shave. I decided to use the Type G injector today as a comparison to the Type J I used on Wednesday. My assessment is that I received close shaves with both. I did not have to buff this morning g as I did on Wednesday. Perhaps I just have to get the angle just right for the J which will come in time I am sure.

This was my first used of the Proraso aftershave. I t has a nice , crisp scent, however, longevity is not it’s strong suite. Probably last about 15 minutes to 30 minutes. Post shave feel was very nice.
