The military case is in bad shape. Completely dry and brown. Looks like it was in a fire. So disappointed.

The Hybrid tech looks amazing though.
So not quite “Drink more ovaltine“
disappointed but not 100% excited as i was. Lol

I wonder if this razor could be classified as a TTO(Twist to open) it would be one of the first and ahead of Gem & Gillette. I always thought Gem Micromatics where the first TTO that where mass produced .

great scores.to be honest i haven't seen a bad tech/hybid.rhodium plating is very durable unless abused..my cap has scratches but it was well used.i use a same era brit fb tech cap on it when shaving.you can also use an rfb cap without the crease in the center.they came with both.enjoy.

I think you might be right Ron, from the info that I've seen out there this might be one of the first, if not the first mass produced TTO razors actually beating Gem & Gillette to the punch by a couple decades.

Two new additions arrived to my razor collection. In Friday's mail the Nickel plated Shake Sharp MK 2 showed up and required just a light cleaning to remove some light rust stains most likely from an old carbon blade.

In today's mail was Gillette Senator in a Super Speed case nicely priced as a regular 1st generation Super Speed razor. 20220129_210349.jpg

Snagged it as soon as I saw it but very disappointing. No idea what halfwit designed this "scent," a gross cross between baby powder, bubblegum, and a cheap scented candle. But it looks nice. A plain soap scent would be better. Not recommended. I'll stick with the original pine tree if I can ever find them.

    Edit...from the Amz listing:

    Hah, no.
