  1. In this case there's no blade trick, unmodified blade just rests against the stops

  11. Thank you Jeff :). A nice warm/hot shave for such a cold winter day.

  12. Paul, I have the Hungarian Lavender. I consider it to be a dark, smoky lavender. It's not as "bright" or sweet-smelling as other lavender scents I've run across. It's not super strong, either. I really like it.

From Mike's website: "It's flowery, herbaceous, earthy, and fresh."

Mike is a good guy, and I think he uses quality ingredients to make a first-rate soap. I also like the fact that he uses simple packaging without all the hoopla and goofy artwork.
  13. Thanks for that, Charlie....he operates his business alone, isn't that right?
  14. Thanks Jeff! It's great to hear from you, and I hope you and your Bride are doing well and staying safe. I always enjoy seeing the cool gear you use along with the detailed descriptions that you include in your SOTD's.

  15. Thanks Joe. You too! My Bride and I took advantage of sunshine and temps in the 40s to enjoy a nice walk today. I hope all the snow isn't impacting you too much.

  16. I believe so, Paul. I purchase directly from Mike, but I believe West Coast Shaving also carries his products.

Even @FaceScraper would use his soap if there was an Otter on the label. :happy102:

  17. That is great! However, I am stuck at home. I am not snowed in, but it is too cold for me to dig out my car. I will wait until tomorrow or Tuesday when it's warmer.

  18. Well, he said "pressurized goo in a can". I accept his apology, I know he meant "lovely", not "pressurized"(chuk yuk yuk). I don't see a description of his canned items-it's presumably in the website., He gets a lot of orders, I see.
  19. Paul, you should include an opening theme in your SOTD's.
