  2. Hey Myles! Great setup! You must have been promoted to Gunnery Sergeant to get Creed Aventis! Lol! Seriously, hope you got squared away at Camp LeJeune.

  4. January Injector Focus Shave #17

    Razor: Parker Injector
    Blade: sChick
Brush: Trotter Handcrafts - Cities From Space
Soap: Stirling Soap Co. -- Bay Rum
    A/S: Homemade Bay Rum splash

Penultimate focus shave for the month. The Parker is a smooth operator. I really appreciate the samples that Rod sends with a Stirling Soap order. This is a very nice bay rum that matches the home brew I created last January/February.

  5. Nice shave session Eric. I like the Stirling Bay Rum scent. The Bayr Rum aftershave lasts longer than the ten other Stirling aftershave that I tried. In this case, a little does go along way. I wouldn't use it in a crowded room that is for sure.
  6. Fabulous Cella shave Joe.

    SE # 238 - MICROMATIC & DARKFALL MONDAY

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: GEM Micromatic Bullet Tip
    Blade: GEM Stainless
    Brush: Epsilon Horse Hair
    Lather: Declaration Grooming Darkfall
    Aftershave: Declaration Grooming Darkfall
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original
    Dark Obsession EdT

It has been a few weeks since I had a Micromatic Darkfall Monday shave. The previous two Monday’s were taken up by other
Combinations as I was away and the other was my birthday shave. It feels good to get back to this shave.
The MMBT took care of this morning’s whiskers easily with the assistance of the slick lather whipped up by the horse hair brush. I truly enjoy this scent. The scent profile is as follows: “Darkfall is a spicy oriental designed to capture the spirit of fall in the rural south. Agarwood, amber, and benzoin provide a deep, warm base for the cinnamon and clove top notes. Birch tar adds a slight smokiness that represents the ever-present smell of burning leaves that heralds the arrival of fall in Georgia.” It is a limited release soap/splash that usually is made available around the beginning of September. This tub will be Edmund Fitzgerald somewhere around the beginning of May. I will be obtaining another tub this Fall.

I hope you all have a great day gentlemen. The thaw in the Northeast will begin tomorrow. Yay!
