  4. Real nice shave this morning to kick off the week. I almost let it go after just one pass (odd for shaving soaps, for me anyway), as it was so good and clean. But I went for the second anyway. That speaks well for Central Texas Soaps. Only one glitch-a speedbump down at Cactus Nation-but it didn't cause a major concern. I spent a little extra time way down at South Cactus (the Adams Apple), as there were extra hairs down there I didn't like. . All else went very well. Nice finish with Clubman. Even with the speedbump issue, this one gets yet another Outta This World Excellent.

  7. Joe doesn't deserve credit for the artwork...that goes to Mr. Darkfall, who works for Doc Declaration Grooming.

    Catie's Bubbles Tuxedo Brush
    Proraso Green SS and AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 24.5 hrs

Well, this is the last shave of the month and what better way than to shave with my Max and brave Menthol Monday on a cold Long Island day. This month just flew so quickly.
Proraso provides a nice, rich and creamy lather. It is slick enough to get the job done, but it isn't as slick as Stirling and other artisan soaps. However, I still got a nice comfortable 2 pass shave with minor touchups. Did not cause any red blood to appear and I didn't have any irritation. There wasn't any feedback from the alum and finished my shave in the usual manner. Looking forward to February's shave because I will mostly be using my shavettes and making a video or two. Let's finish this month with strong shaves. Have a good day.

Rudy Vey Chubby handle w/24 mm Shavemac Silvertip two-band bulb knot
    Stirling Executive Man
Alum, Witch hazel, USB, Stetson AS & Aramis

I enjoyed a nice one pass shave with a few touch ups on 2-3 days of growth. Super close and comfortable. I was more than ready for the shave.

I'm in the process of using up this nearly full puck of Stirling, the Stetson AS, and the Aramis. I've got a bit more USB left, and I may eventually replace it with argan oil as a facial moisturizer on the recommendation of @jgreenepa.

I hope you all have a a fantastic Monday. Grace and Peace.
