Your G 4 Slim is a beauty! I have an N2 (but I prefer using my D4 Fatboy)... I also had a J2 - 1964 - that I gave to a friend. That was the year that Gillette changed the hinge tabs. This J2 had the older style ones although I've seen J1 Slims with the newer tabs.
thank you..yours is a nice set as well.i scored an m-4 birthyear/quarter set a long time ago, mint and complete, but rarely used it.i sold it and my f2 fatboy set for good coin.i found the g-4 in a local antique shop for cheap, found the case/instuctions later.i plan to keep this set just to own one.i honestly prefer my 30's/40's gillettes.
Ah, 1967. I’m a bit older than you. My birthyear/quarter would be a V-4. Not many of those around. I’ve never really gotten into the 30’s/40’s models. Some day I should.
Big Boy kind of day! A little heavier weight than the big fellow, a fine shaver fo shizzle. Sent from my SM-G977U using Tapatalk
Like the dice, I actually have a pair of red dice from the trump Taj Mahal in my red Gillette rocket case!!! Haha what are the odds? Also included I have a 1991 birth year JFK half dollar. Supposed to be used to scoop soap and put it into a bowl but I face lather and I just think it looks cool and the collection. . Also in there I have one of those metal Gillette box safety razor cases. Here’s a picture!!!
