thank you Eric.i have a #25 set with the same razor that came nos in a late 40s travel set.i currently use that one at present.i might keep the #44 intact for now.
When doing a case for the thin handle #44 you sent me, seems like the interior color is close to what you have. But what color would you say the outside is. I might have to re-do mine to get it close. Also, English blade banks are hard to find..............

Excellent pickup. Not knocking yours, but seems like most of the cases have that same circle blemish in the mirror. Wonder why that is?
That’s because the glue used to install the mirror bleeds through the very thin glass. The glass used I think is 1/16th” thick.
