they do come up quite regular on ebay uk.my new one doesn't exactly match the ones on Mr.Razor site.so..mine on top..





mine could be an early 48?,late 47,who knows..

 

Well, Gillette has a history of using older parts and/or cases. Probably another version on the case you have.

this one is closer..

 

intertesting that bost mr.r's don't have a chrome blade holder like mine and the new rfb set..

Just my opinion, but US sets are so numerous and easy to find parts.

 

razors aside,all the U.S ones i've seen don't have the stops at each end of the handle slot..

 

I know. When I moved south in 1986 and needed work I sold them door to door for a month
