    thank you Jeff.no case unfortunately.i purchased it on a rebound after buying the vb1 set,which does have that nice silver case.i can't see a "made in" anywhere,only "autostrop division",but it did come from a U.S seller.
    as of yesterday my silver vb1 case is on route to be customized to fit 4 brit tech variants and a favorite handle,i scrapped the broken vb1 and kept the non silver plate vb1 handle for a brit vc3.as for the vb2?,,i may pusue the proper case if a nice one comes up in future.:):eatdrink047:

    Good morning guys, sorry haven’t had much time to make a post here just been busy working lately. Really enjoying the fleet life and well North Carolina in general. If I haven’t stated before I’m in a maintenance battalion so we pretty much supply to the entire east coast for the Marine Corps. In other words, I’m always on the road making runs throughout the base. I should be going home this weekend, y’all will be hearing from me a little more. Hopefully you all have been well, looking forward to hearing from y’all
