I'm still trying to get a good shave out of this razor. I'm sure it's me but I just can't seem to get the angle or pressure or something right. I'm fairly sure it's the largest and heaviest razor I won which makes it feel a little awkward. Oh well, I do better next time.

No reaction on 1st use of the soap was nice. I got more rum than coconut but it's a nice scent. Love the shave from the Yaqi Adjustable with it's new Brass handle from @Clouds Expecting a single spring day before some cooler weather comes back. Calling for 63 today so we are rolling logs off the hillside to put on a trailer and haul off...........It will take us many loads before we uncover more trunks and limbs underneath to cut next time but we're making progress. When I say we, us and we're, I mean ME, Myself and I. Off to some coffee and store bought mini powdered doughnuts. Man these are addictive which is why momma don't buy them often........... Have a great day Folks !!!

Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 AS Balm

The Archaic Alchemy Eureka Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #425 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick J Injector Razor with a Chinese Schick Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 AS Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Hot shower
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Gillette Platinum day 10
    Palmolive Classic SC
    Nip Man ASB
    Hega AS Splash

A very plain and basic, no frills setup for this morning - the Palmolive Classic cream I used today is from Italy and it’s identical to the one sold just about everywhere else in Europe. The scent is clean, soapy, and nice, the lather works up so easily, and the postshave care is excellent. The Nip Man balm is very moisturizing as well as soothing, I love its minty scent, and there’s a pleasant cooling effect. Finally the Hega aftershave from Sweden has a neutral scent and although it’s alcohol based there’s no burning or stinging from it. I was in a bit of a hurry but I still managed to get a great BBS shave from two passes.

Enjoy your weekend - be well and safe!

    FAT Friday!
This old W&B 6/8th’s is weighted toe heavy. That combined with the tiny shank makes using the scything motion on this wedge super easy and natural. Also makes for an unreal smooth shave to boot.

Nice gold handle Dave, I have been getting some close great shaves with the Yaqi TFC lately. Seems like the Yaqi TFC is a great Gibbs style adjustable razor IMO.

    Razor: Unbranded Roller Bar
    Blade: vintage wilkinson sword
    Brush: jayaruh
    Soap: Vintage williams shave stick
    Post: lemon witch hazel

Weird experience with the roller guard. As you have and you have the weird sensation of a rollers moving along your face, the lather literally goes in and comes right back out. Lol the rollers captured the lather but releases along the way. Very weird. The soap lathered well and easily but it didnt produce slickness. I made sure i rinsed it well before using the used soap. A little weird but waste not want not..
In the end, the razor gave me a close shave but not bbs. I used the g injector to finish what the roller couldnt and resulted in a bbs shave!

Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo.72- Mfg 2021> excellent mid range, great clamping design , easy carefree shaving mostly.
Blade: Gillette 7oClock SP- excellent sharp & smoooth blade, with reasonable longevity.
Soap: Italian barber Amici, nice mild red grape fruit scent + excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi "Ever-helpful" 22 mm 2 band badger- excellent lather generator, firm pillow like soft tips, excellent scrubber + good lather painter. This brush is designed with a shorter loft + HD knot that makes it great for those who like to scrub.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Italian barber Amici AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [IMG]excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Gillette 7oClock SP.

Never seen a razor with a top cap like you have with lots of art design and a roller type safety bar also. Mild razor it sounds like, you could try a Extra wide Kai SS or Gillette Sputnik also extra wide that will give more blade feel. Those 2 blades are 9/1000 inches wider or 4.5/1000 inches per side. I use the Kai in my mild razors with great success and will always have a tuck or 2 of them (superior than shimming IMO).
