    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap with Mint Extracts.
Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia 24mm Synthetic.
    Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
    Lather: Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Cream.
Blade: Personna PTFE SS Injector. (D6.)
    Razor: Schick Type G Injector.

    Post:
Cold water Face Wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Pashana ASL./L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

    Greetings,

A new shave set up to start the weekend...i thought it would be a good idea to carry on for using the Schick Type G along with some of my other Vintage SE razors.
The Personna PTFE SS blade finally started to struggle and feel tuggy on the pick up pass but i managed to finish the shave without any blood sport.
I can't complain in the slightest as in theory i actually got seven shaves from the Personna blade. Doing a head shave with any blade is equivalent of two face shaves in my way of thinking.. Head shaving dramatically dulls the edge of a blade, lowering the longevity of a blade much quicker than it does with face shaving...YMMV.

A close comfortable smooth 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Wonderful shaves Barry! I do agree that shaving your head will dull the blade quicker than with face shaving.

Lovely shave, Barry! Sounds like you’re a big injector fan now! Looking forward to your report on the new injector on the way to you! Enjoy your Saturday Green Tea!

:signs001: Jeff... The Supply V2 maiden shave will be next Saturday... It'll be delivered on Monday, we've had some delays with the post recently, due to "a COVID backlog" according to the postie which sounds dubious, but we have to live with it..Injector razors have made a big impression on me..They are such comfortable razors to use,and provide a superb shave... The head shave with the Schick G type was outstanding.
Take care, and have wonderful weekend my Yankee Doodle Dandy friend.

    DE Shave # 383

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Rod George Catacomb 2
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (3)
    Brush: Jack Skully
    Lather: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
    Aftershave: Sailor Jerry Spiced Navy
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

Wonderful clean and crisp Saturday morning shave. For Paul’s benefit, @Paul Turner, I decided to shave with the MWF. I place several drops of water on the puck prior to heading into the shower. Following the shower I loaded a damp synthetic brush on the puck for over a minute. The loaded brush met the Fine lather bowl for about a two - three minute load while periodically adding a few drops of water intermittently. The resulting lather was a slick and thick without any dissipation upon application to the face. Yes, MWF takes some time to get a wonderful lather, as Jeff, @jgreenepa, alluded to yesterday. In my mind, it is time well spent.

The result shave with the RGD DE was nothing less than perfection. It was an effortless shave which results in a BBS. The aftershave is a pleasant spiced scent which leaves one within the feeling of out of doors cleanliness while being on the water. The scent is not a heavy scent but an hour post shave I am still getting subtle whiffs that bring a smile to my face.

I hope you have a great day gentlemen.
