I shaved my head this morning at the gym using my ShakeSharp razor and Cremo Sandalwood Brushless Cream. So, I will be going out tonight and needed to shave my face when I go home. A clean shaved dome and an unshaven face is not a good look fr me. Lol!
Shannon's Soap makes a great, slick and creamy lather, but you have to work a little harder to get there. That's fine with me because it does perform well. However, the soap has undergone some crystallization.in the puck. It doesn't bother me because I still get a nice lather. This is the 13th shave with this blade and it is still going strong. I have gotten 16 shaves from a Personna Hairshaper Blade, so I will try to see if I break my record.
The shave went well. There weren't any mistakes and my shave was comfortable and smooth. Did my usual postshave routine and ended with a nice dose of Old Spice. Have a nice day gentlemen.

 

When I read that I immediately thought" Am I gunna like this, coming from Charlie????" And I did! Jim, at the Cutlery shop in Evanston Ill., has been doing a lot of discount deals lately. I hope he's been successful with them, and still does one when I NEED a "refill".

 

That isn't for Tabac, that's for the vintage Rise .

 

I think that's similar to what Joseph said.....that I shouldn't worry about Knicks and cuts DURING the shave-it's how I look and feel at the end of it.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Soap with Mint Extracts.
Brush: Semogue 1438.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Bath House Spanish Fig & Nutmeg Shaving Soap.
Blade: Ted Pella PTFE SS. (D5)
Razor: Ever-Ready 1912. (US)
Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Baylis & Harding Sandalwood & Amber ASB./Oud 24 Hours EDP.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

After the run with the Schick Type G Injector & Gem Featherweight over the last few weeks i thought it would be a good idea to carry on with some of my other Vintage SE razors for the rest of the week.
A wonderful early morning shave...The TP PTFE blade is still feeling smooth and efficient on it's 5th outing showing no signs of tugging throughout the shave cutting through my stubble with ease.

The Bath House soap provided a wonderful lather in a short space of time....I have mentioned before i find this shaving soap similar to MWF in performance which i like very much, it's fragrance has a very pleasant 'Spicy' scent which is great for the winter months of the year but i use it all year round, not just for the colder months of the year. Another great soap that gives a superb post shave feel.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups smooth shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Oud 24 Hours EDP to the chest & pulse points.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.

Perfect shave and scent for a snowy day here on LI. The B & M Reserve Fern was easily whipped up into a nice slick lather by the Jayaruh boar. The three pass straight shave delivered a flawless close and comfortable shave. The post shave alum report was silent.
I am smelling good and ready for whatever my day brings including the eventual Super Bowl.
