  1. Wonderful shave Barry. How do you like the Oud EdP?
  2. :signs001: Joe..The Oud 24 hours EdP is a great favourite of mine, I only use it once in a while,a few small squirts to the chest and pulse points lasts me all day and beyond..It's very intense,so I use it "very sparingly"..If you like strong smelling Oud fragrances, then this is a one to check out..Be warned though, it's not for everyone.
  3. Excellent shave Joe!

  4. Very good shave this morning to close out the Phoenix Bay Rum/Clubman Special Reserve set(until next time). Loading was good enough for 2 healthy passes. No cuts, one small Knick (a polkadot). The Knick was at North Porcupine Alley again (like yesterday). Rest of Porcupine went well. I have to be careful down at Cactus or the current ingrown hairs will multiply-in space not size. A warning for tomorrow. Cheeks&sideburns are fine. Great finish by the Clubman Special Reserve. Most Excellent.
  5. Thanks Joe. I have recently been dome shaving at the gym and there wasn't any discernable reaction except from my gym buddies. Some guys shave in the locker room so I figured why not dome shave there once in awhile. I have used my Dovo with my brush and soap in the locker room and no one seemed to notice.

I decided to do a very late night shave.
Picked out one of my fav Stirling scents and because it goes with the new snowfall we had today. The brush is also a favorite because one of the 30 DC members made it for me via an anonymous puffer. This brush made a super, wet, slick and creamy lather.

The 2.5 pass shave went well. Close and comfortable was the result. Finished with the usual postshave ritual with a generous splash of the Christmas Eve splash. Take care.
  17. i recently bought Yaqi Butterscotch Syntethic brush, oh boy i had no idea how a brush can change the whole shaving experience. only brush changed but soaps lather better, and closer shave.

    - yaqi butterscotch brush
    - stirling barbershop soap
    - baili butterfly razor with rapira blade
    - face lather
    - alum block + arko sensitive cream

  18. Glad you had terrific shave Tolga! Technique does trump tools, but having a good razor, blade, brush and soap makes for a better shaving experience. It's been awhile since you posted here so don't be a stranger. Take care.
  19. i didnt have too much to write about and my son was in midterm brake so home was a bit chaotic :)
during this time i focused on my technic as you said.
fixed(de89 + omega boar brush + rapira blade) + soap of the day :D
  20. That's great that you worked on your technique. Just know that you were missed. Take care.
