The Proraso Green Shave Soap lathered well with the Semogue 1305 Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Provision Supply V2 Razor with plate three and a Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The Colibri has been delivering some great shaves today and this past weekend. I'm really enjoying the Lakewood samples.

I polished the Yaqi handle out and found it to be to slick so I taped the ends off and bead blasted the center section.....great grip now.

Today is our anniversary....36 years. Where has the time gone?

The more I use this Glacial version of Electric Sheep the more I love it. It has the same beautiful lemony/citronella/eucalyptus scent as the regular version, the mutton tallow formula makes the lather so rich, the slickness is fantastic, the menthol sensation is only for a hard core menthol monkey like me, and the skincare is perfect. The Prep is so moisturizing as well as cooling and soothing for my skin - not to mention how much I love the medicinal scent, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave is loaded with menthol as well as a gorgeous old school barbershop scent that I absolutely love. The Gillette Platinum blade is nearly finished, yet I still managed to get a fabulous, enjoyable three pass BBS shave!

Mighty fine shave for a Valetines Day; smooth, close and comfortable. I used the Blaze a couple of weeks ago with a GSB blade and that combo worked great. This combo is better for me. Gonna use the Blaze this week and then 1 more week before doing a review. But so far, it's a fine shaving tool. And, yes, I've been using Lea Menthol SC quite a bit but it just works so well for me that it's hard to use something else. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Razor: Everready 1914(LLC)- Mfg 1914-17, excellent mid range, very efficient, always receive close shaves, Love the audio feedback that this razor generates. Just a joy to use and well built to last the test of time for that era of razors.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(6) excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Colonel Conk Bayrum- nice mild scent of Bayrum with excellent lather qualities.(1 tub spent for 2022)
Brush: Yaqi Atlantis 24mm synthetic- excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrub + excellent painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: witch hazel cleanse + Ogallala Bayrum with sandal wood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Everready 1914 with a coated Gem blade.

Pleasant, comfortable shave. The Voskhod blade was smooth. I have tried these blades several times before and not been pleased, but today was nice. Maybe it's the choice of razor, maybe my technique has improved over time.

Nice 2 pass shave. Not the closest or smoothest, but good enough for heading into the office on a 13F Monday morning.
