    Thursday morning:

    L’Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/7 AM day 2
    Tabac Shaving Stick
    Bull Dog Moisturizer
    Tabac AS Splash

The Yaqi Barber Pole whipped up such tremendous lather from the Tabac stick - that old school European scent has always been a favourite of mine, (My wife hates it! ) and the postshave feeling is so comfortable. The Bull Dog moisturizer works so well as a balm, and the Tabac aftershave was a perfect finish. The 7 AM blade helped me get another awesome three pass BBS shave!

Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and safe!

Gary, you have 6 days to go on the Washington" with haircut" avatar, then you can do what you like. On 2-22-22, George Washington will have turned 290 if he lived today.

Razor: Yaqi TFC adjustable-Mfg 2021> great adjustable with the Gibbs design from the 1930's, mostly carefree shaving, easy to change on the fly, adjustments seem to work well (3>3>3.5 pickups).Very affordable + reasonable quality for a Gibbs style razor IMO.
Blade: Gillette 7oClock SP(5)tossed) sharp & smoooth with reasonable longevity. Winter months are hard on blades with drier conditions & tougher.
Soap: Speick- nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Moka express 2band badger, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice scrubber, greater painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + 2 small weepers(operator error)= Excellent shave with my Yaqi TFC adjustable with a 7oClock SP blade.

    Gillette New Deluxe
    Feather blade (?).
    Yaqi synthetic brush.
    Soap Commander Fortitude shave soap.
    Timeless shave bowl.
Scottish Antique by Andy Hilfiger cologne.

I could not resist giving this razor a go this morning. I picked it up yesterday at an antique store. Gary @brit identified it as a New Deluxe and I appreciate his help. I researched it a little more and this one is the 17mm version. Gillette also made a 15mm version.

I can honestly say that this razor head is a sweet one....very efficient and smooth. The handle is too light causing the razor to be head heavy. After a few strokes I went for the Karve handle....much better. Thanks again Gary.

The original handle is cracked and I'm thinking of adding a brass rod to inside of the handle when I repair it....more on that repair later when I get to it. This should balance the razor out and still retain the original look.

    Happy Thursday everyone!

The handle that came on the Deluxe is the top one. The lower handle is off of my New Type long comb.

These may not be original to the heads.

    Notice the difference here.

i obviously overthought it..:),i have that handle in mr.razor's set,but have seen other sets with your handle as well.the one i got it mixed up with is the one with the knurling directly bellow the threaded collar,.sorry.:p.they also came with a longer version of the tuckaway handle.
