I'm with you on what is best in tubs. Rocky Mtn. Barber Co. offers a couple creams in its tubs, They are OK, but I like the tougher stronger soaps better. My next RMBC will be a soap. For many of my soap shaves, I find I could have swirled(whipped)longer. I'm not a fast whipper.

good morning gents,fabulous shave this morning with the brit post war tech.the erasmic cream was a surprise to be honest.while the hard soap is like vintage williams and does the job well,i had heard mixed reviews about the cream.i had got it a while back but not used it.the cream is a touch runny compared to others but it exploded into shiny lather in seconds with a damp badger.quite slick with average residual slickness.light if little scent.will i buy it again? definite maybe.excellent for a travel set.too many others to use before another shopping trip.i plan to use up all the creams and stick with hard soaps in future.less packaging and waste.nice splash of clubman vanilla to finish.scent almost gone as i write this.just another great shave to prove one doesn't have to spend big to shave well.have a great day everyone..

 

Gary, there's something different abiout the Clubman Vanilla bottle than I'm used to seeing.... larger print on the front.

 

most likely.this bottle is around 3 moths old.was out of stock here for ages.could be whty it's scent is weak as well.reformulated..

 

Excellent shave, pic and setup! Lathers don't need to be thick or picture perfect to make a great shave. As long as it provides enough slickness for the razor to easily slide on your skin, then you are golden.have a super day!
