Feb 20 SOTD Rockwell Model T v1 (6) Rockwell Blade (3?) Rockwell Brush Proraso Green SS and AS Maggard's Alum Block Dickinson's Witch Hazel Beard Growth: 36 hrs As I mentioned in my last post, I was going to take a nice break from shavette shaving today. In keeping with Favorite February, my entire setup is a great fav of mine. The Rockwell brush was my very first and it still performs great. It produced a nice, lather with Proraso Green. Yes, I know it's cold outside, but I do like menthol shaves anytime of the year. DE shaving is a breeze for me. I don't have to think about doing it. It is great for just getting a quick shave without worrying about cuts, etc. The Model T made quick work of my 36 hr stubble. Two passes gave me a marvelous shave without errors. The alum didn't sing. Witch hazel and the Proraso Green applications finished this easy shave. Have a great Sunday guys.
Thanks Joe. Love the pic! It's been awhile since I face shaved with this razor. I use most of my safeties for dome shaving.
very cool.thank you.will know how to predict my injector shaves a bit better. ie.was my 4th shave with the "66" this year good because of or bad because of..same blade..
Gillette New Deluxe (17mm) on Signature Shaving brass handle. Feather blade (fresh). Yaqi two band badger brush. Fine Accoutrements Snake Bite. Timeless shave bowl. Royal Copenhagen cologne. Hello everyone. I'm still kicking and I hope everyone is doing great! Great shave this morning. The New Deluxe is fast becoming my favorite Gillette in the den. It is amazing to think that a 92 year old razor can hang with anything else in my den. I picked this razor head up last week at an antique store in Sweetwater, Tennessee. The original handle is cracked but I have a fix for that. Take care everyone!
