Wonderful Williams shave Barry. I was not aware that it is no longer being produced.

:signs001: Joe...Apparently they stopped production of Williams in November 2021.

Awesome shave Barry. In the beginning of my wetshaving journey, I used Williams and found it to be slick, but it would disappear during my shave. Frankly, I am not upset about it being extinct. There are other inexpensive soaps to replace it. Enjoy your day.

A very well-done shave on this Sunday morning. Nice loading action of the Stoylin Sandpiper soap onto the Stoylin "No-Name" brush. Before the shave I noticed a lot of whisker action on the "mustache" area(North Porcupine Alley). I spent extra time getting that off, making sure to avoid getting a cut or Knick(and I didn't). Rest of the shave flowed smootly-no cuts Knicks or polkadots. I did leave a little too much astroturf at North Cactus Nation(just under the jawline). I'll get that tomorrow. Otherwise, rest of Cactus feels good. Overly quite pleased, but it has to be a Super Duper Excellent shave, given that extra hair below the jawline,

It's on a consistent basis (The Sensor Deuce). For other razors, I feel it's better to go North-to-South at all times(to help with my angle woes), which doesn't give me a good enough shave.... course I'd have to add a pass or two. THAT could be an experiment, as I always do two passes on shave soaps, with the Sensor, which seems good enough.

    Good morning!

    Shavette Shave #342
    Parker SRB
    Feather 1/2 DE Blade (3)
    MrEE Tuxedo Brush
Stirling Christmas Eve SS and AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 41.5 hrs

It was a toss-up between a shavette or a straight shave. I went with the Parker because I figured the Feather blade on it's 3rd use would mow the beard down easily.

I whipped up a more voluminous lather than usual because of the amount of growth and the use of a Feather blade. I did 2 passes with a minor touchup on my right neck, but I could have finished with one pass. The Shave was BBS without errors. These blades are quite sharp to be able to cut almost 2 days growth without any problems.
The alum sang a bit, but I expected it because the blade was on its 3rd use. I am going to try to push it to 5 shaves. Usually after 3 shaves, the Feather loses its effectiveness, but we shall see. On other blades, I toss them out after 5. Finished with the witch hazel and the matching aftershave. Have a great day!
