Looked at my den and thought, "I gotta a lot of Clubman stuff". My stash has Pinaud Clubman, Pinaud Lime Sec, Clubman Whiskey Woods and Clubman Brandy Spice. I use these a lot too. How about you? Whatcha got and do you use it often?
I’m down to the original. I decant into glass and it really enhances the juice. My favorite Amazon review of Clubman: "While merely holding this bottle to pay for it, I impregnated the lady at the cash register when her eyes met mine."
Hmmmm....Clubman, VI Bay Rum, Musk, Lime Sec. Those are current. Have gone through Vanilla, Citrus Musk, Special Reserve, Eau de Portugal, and a few Clubman talcs. Gotta love Pinaud lol.
None. Can't say I'm a fan. But then again, I'm not a collector of aftershaves or colognes. I have only about half a dozen that I've used for the past many years. Brut, Curve, Avon Wild Country, C&E Lime, Old Spice
None. I have used the Bay Rum in the past, but not really a fan. Most days I don't use a splash, other than water post shave. When I do use a splash, I'm a one trick pony and only use Superior 70 Bay Rum.
Original,(12.5),Special Reserve, and Gent's Gin, for aftershaves....and the shampoo (Country Club). I've loved Clubman since my early shave years(teen-ager). I use all but the Gent's Gin in the cold months.
I think the Bay Rum has lots of clove......YEOW(I haven't used it, just read the description. I'm not a clove man.)
True. The two species of plant are in the same genus I believe, so no avoiding the similarity. Superior 70 is probably the cleanest and least clovey of the bay rums I have tried. It is a bay rum for those who don’t like bay rum. Clean and subtle.
Wow! I even had to share it with my wife. Now, Special Reserve is so potent that small children walking past it begin to go through puberty and grow facial hair.
