Very good shave this morning for the second day of Barbershop week. Much of the bottom of the soap jar is showing, thus I'm getting near the end. 2 passes. I used a little less water this time, thus the soap was more visible on my face and neck. Pretty rough alongside North Porcupine Alley . South not so bad, including the jawline. It turned out I needed that second pass, as I missed the area just northwest of Ingrown Swamp(at North Cactus Nation). I guess I got a little bit of it, but still left some at the end of the shave. I went back after breakfast with just a razor and warm water to finish it off. No cuts, Knicks, or polkadots. Fine finish again with Clubman. Most Excellent again.

    Great shaves, gents!

Now I want to do a few Proraso shaves after I'm done with my current focus. (Only 27 shaves to go :D)

And maybe I should get some Arko. Or Derby. Or both. Or something else. :D

    Monday's Shave

    Fine Accoutrements Snake Bite soap.

I have still got a lot of learning to do.

The penny on the left was plated for two minutes. The one on the right at four minutes. The copper is still showing on the right penny due to the alligator clip.

The top two pictures are when I was making the nickel solution.

I still need some more practice before I commit to razor.

    Take care.

Thanks Daniel. I also have Arko and Tahac (tallow) and they make great, slick lathers.

    SRS # 654

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: FA Clauberg CopperKing 6/8
Brush: MrEE Limited Edition #017 Cashmere 24 mm
Lather: Los Jabones de Joserra Gredos
Aftershave: Los Jabones de Joserra Gredos
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

T-minus 7 = the number of shaves left in the Gredos soap as the Edmund Fitzgerald will come calling. Another fabulous shave this morning following the X3Bar Pull workout and painting of the ceiling I. The living room. Yes, the shoulder is feeling great and SWMBO has a list of things to do over the next few months for me to do.

Three passes with the FA Clauberg assisted by the magnificent lathering ability of the Cashmere knot in Evan’s, @MrEE, beautifully turned handle has my face feeling smooth and fabulous.
I think tomorrow I will be reaching for a classic barbershop type scent in the form
of Bay Rum. I have been contemplating this shave for a while. The challenge is I have an abundance of soaps. Fortunately, I have been on a NB since June of 2020.

I hope you all have a great day gentlemen.
